Robin Gwin
Robin is a Licensed Social Worker and certified Natural Lifemanship Practioner. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2016. Throughout her college years, Robin served weekly as a volunteer for Youth for Christ at an inner-city youth center, where she mentored and worked with underprivileged and at-risk teenagers. Robin interned at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, working both in the Office of Offender Reentry and at various correctional institutions across Ohio. Upon graduation, she became a case manager at Alvis, a halfway house for incarcerated women who were undergoing substance abuse treatment.
Robin believes that all of these experiences helped shaped the direction of her career path, as she discovered her heart’s main desire: to help people heal. It wasn’t until Robin was introduced to the Natural Lifemanship model of equine assisted therapy that she knew this was what she wanted to pursue. Robin is captivated by the powerful connection that horses can offer to us, which led her to start her own equine assisted counseling business, Majestic Gifts.
Robin has been offering equine assisted counseling services at Benson Oaks Farm to children and adults since 2019. She has experience in working with individuals who seek to improve their overall mental health and well-being, including those with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and ADHD.
Robin is also the Program Director for Jacks Legacy, 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering those who are journeying through addiction. To find out more click here.
